Alexander Lipay is an artist and musician based out of Arizona, where he's lived for almost a decade. He has been principal flute of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra since 2006, and holds the same position with the Tucson Chamber Artists and St. Andrew's Bach Society Chamber Orchestra. He has played as a soloist with numerous orchestras worldwide, including the St. Petersburg Philharmonic and the Seattle Symphony. As an artist, he specializes in large-canvas landscape paintings in oil and acrylic, favoring heavy brush strokes and thickly textured paint.
